Positives: - Order arrived in a timely manner and was packaged well. - All of the sheets were facing the same way, which facilitated easy loading into a printer. - The stickers were arranged symmetrically both horizontally and vertically, meaning that the sheets could be loaded in any orientation. - The spacings between adjacent stickers were uniform, facilitating simple programmatic arrangement of labels on to them - i.e., I wrote a simple script in Python to generate a PDF where all the labels perfectly lined up with the stickers, in the centres. - The adhesive is strong, so it's difficult to peel the labels off once they're on paper. (They peel off easily from the sheets, though, which is what you want.) - The corners are rounded rather than right-angled, reducing the risk of corners peeling off. Negatives: - I found the black ink I printed with smudged very slightly when I rubbed my dry finger over the ink. The sharpness of the printed shapes remained near-perfect, but the smudge indicated that the prints can degrade with much more handling. (I printed QR codes for library books and pasted them inside their covers. I wanted to check whether they'd smudge if handled by patrons.) Context of my rating: - Note that I used only black ink and printed in monochrome and High Quality using an Epson Workforce Pro WF-3820 inkjet printer. And I had set the print settings to print on matte paper in both the file and on the printer. I had let the ink air dry at around 20 degrees C with roughly 50% relative humidity for several hours after printing before storing the sheets in an A4 display folder.
